We are hiring a Human Resources Director to join our dynamic care team at Marlborough Hills Rehab!

Marlborough Hills is a 196-bed skilled nursing facility located at 121 Northboro Road East in Marlborough. This role will also have oversight of the HR department at Highview of Northampton, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility at 222 River Road in Leeds. Must be willing to commute.

As the HR Director, you oversee and assist in the provision of human resources services which include employee benefits administration, recruitment and employment, human resource policies, procedures, employee and labor relations, and management systems.

Experience & Education:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a concentration in human resources, business administration, psychology, or other related field preferred.

A minimum of one (1) year experience in an administrative supervisor capacity preferably within a health care or skilled nursing facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Demonstrate the ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate all administrative activities of assigned facility/facilities.

Maintain accurate and organized administrative files, records, license verification, and facilities policy books.

Responds to employee questions and problems pertaining to the eligibility and availability of benefits.

Maintains facilities personnel files, ensures the timely completion of all required evaluations and paperwork, coordinate and manage accurate and organized personnel files.

Supervises the facility employees including interviewing, hiring, disciplining and separation.

Assists in talent management, recruitment, and retention of facility/facilities employees.

Conducts exit interviews following employee separation.

Take part in internal safety committee meetings to ensure employee safety and timely processing of any work-related injury claim.

Maintains confidentiality of all employee and resident-related information.

Completes professional license/certification verifications as well as ongoing verification throughout employee’s employment.

Performs secretarial duties, record-keeping functions, administrative detail and follow-up.

Coordinate inter/intra facilities communication.

Completes all background check processes in accordance with all federal and state specific regulations and facility protocols.

Specific Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Proficient in composition of verbal and written communication.

Proficient with computer software programs (ADP Vantage, Microsoft Word & Excel, etc.)

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Knowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to hospital and long-term care administrative procedures.

Knowledgeable of human resources law, regulations, and guidelines such as FMLA, ADA, OSHA, I-9, employment eligibility, and EEO1.
