A law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with over 10 years of experience in trusts and estates law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with high-net-worth clients, including experience in drafting complex estate planning documents and administering probate estates. Proven client relationship skills and the ability to lead in-person client meetings are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive estate planning services to high-net-worth clients, including drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.Develop and implement estate plans that address clients' estate and income tax planning needs, including irrevocable trusts and other sophisticated planning tools.Administer probate estates, including managing estate assets, filing necessary legal documents, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.Lead and conduct in-person client meetings to discuss estate planning strategies and address clients' concerns and objectives.Maintain and build strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.Stay current on changes in estate planning laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice and strategies.Collaborate with other attorneys and financial professionals to deliver comprehensive estate planning solutions.Requirements:10+ years of experience practicing trusts and estates law.Proven experience working with high-net-worth clients and addressing their complex estate planning needs.Proficiency in drafting both basic and sophisticated estate planning documents, including irrevocable trusts.Strong client relationship skills and the ability to lead in-person client meetings.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active bar membership in the state of California.Skills:Expertise in drafting estate planning documents and administering probate estates.Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle complex estate planning and tax matters.High level of organization and attention to detail.
