The System Vice President (VP) of Revenue Cycle Performance is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle operations within PeaceHealth. This executive drives organizational change, leveraging data, analytics, industry best practices, and the latest technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance financial performance. The VP fosters a patient-centric approach in all revenue cycle activities, prioritizing transparency, and responsiveness. The VP collaborates closely with network and system leadership to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provides visionary leadership to the revenue cycle team, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and excellence.

Encourages innovation and continuous improvement, promoting a mindset of adaptability and resilience in the face of change.

Ensures the adoption of industry best practices and the latest technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Establishes clear goals and operating targets to ensure leadership accountability to metrics and key performance indicators.

Develops and implements a robust succession planning strategy to ensure the continuity of leadership and key positions within the revenue cycle team. Identifies high-potential caregivers and provides them with growth opportunities.

Leads initiatives to reduce revenue leakage, improve reimbursement, and improve cash flow.

Establishes a comprehensive payer engagement strategy to address denials, underpayments, and other contract issues that diminish reimbursement and create operational inefficiencies.

Partners with network and system stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance the quality of services delivered by revenue cycle. Appropriately allocates resources to ensure mutual goals are met.

Stays abreast of and shares industry trends, ensuring that all revenue cycle policies and practices stay current and compliant with changing regulatory and payer requirements.

Develops and implements strategies to enhance consumer experience, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of issues.

Creates and maintains a positive and supportive work environment for revenue cycle caregivers, promoting professional development, engagement, and retention.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree Required: In Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.

Master's Degree Preferred: In Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10 years required: Experience in healthcare, including revenue cycle, revenue integrity, charge capture, compliance, pricing, or reimbursement.

Minimum of 10 years preferred: Supervisory experience.

Required: Prior experience and successes in a system executive leadership role with demonstrated outcomes in an integrated network.

Required: Experience leading/partnering in multidisciplinary teams.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is

$248,900 – $308,500 . The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, seniority, etc.
