Do you have a track record of leading a multi-media sales team, helping local businesses succeed, and driving sales success? If so, the Steamboat Pilot and the Craig Press is looking for an Advertising Director to lead its multi-media marketing/advertising team. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in a world-class mountain resort community.We are looking for the right person to:Increase revenues for our newspapers, magazines, and digital productsWork with account managers to develop strategies to help customers grow their business, forecast sales and surpass goalsUse consultative selling to manage key accountsMake sales calls with account managersAttend community eventsCreate sales proposals and keep up-to-date special sections, marketing pieces, calendars, and media kits.Qualifications:Excellent skills in leadership, team building, negotiation, issue resolution, innovation, and customer serviceA background with an emphasis on sales, marketing or advertisingProven experience as an Advertising Director or similar roleOutstanding external and internal communication skillsStrong understanding of online media and its metrics, analytics, and marketingSelf-motivated and goal orientedHistory of building customer relationships and cross-selling techniquesSuccess will be achieved through a combination of coaching, supporting and challenging others to help them grow their territories and tell the Steamboat Pilot and Craig Press story to a wide audience of customers and prospects.Swift Communications is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Pay:
$80,000-$100,000 (salary + bonus plan) depending on experience. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance after 60 days of employment, $500 recreation bonus after six months and 401k Plan, including a company match, after one year.
