We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our Membership Team. Your primary responsibility in this role is to qualify (and disqualify) inbound leads, and to convert qualified leads into Fora Advisor sign-ups. Our ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, goal oriented, a creative problem solver, and has a strong passion for travel, community, and entrepreneurship.To do the above, you will:Manage a pipeline of ~500 inbound leads per week (this number fluctuates)Apply (and, eventually, improve on) Fora’s qualification criteria to ensure we are only qualifying and accepting high quality applicantsReach Sales Qualified leads using email, phone, and other channels to drive conversionEngage prospects in meaningful conversations to uncover opportunities and educate them about our products/services - you are an important face of Fora!Use Hubspot CRM software to track and manage lead activities, update prospect information, and report on sales metrics and performanceAct as a HubSpot specialist to continuously maintain and improve the membership pipelineAs you get up to speed, you will also likely:Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to generate leads and drive pipeline growthStay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunitiesIn this role you will report to the Sales Membership Manager, who is based in NYC and works a hybrid WFH / office schedule.

We're a team of results-oriented problem solvers and believe those two qualities will enable you to thrive and grow at Fora.To be successful, we believe you need 1-2 years experience in some combination of recruiting, sales, or business development roles, with the following demonstrated skills and qualities:Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targetsGoal oriented and data driven with the ability to break down targets into smaller weekly/daily targetsExcellent time management and organizational skillsCommunication with both technical & non-technical stakeholders - spoken & writtenThe strongest candidates will also likely have some if not all of the following skills:Previous full-cycle sales experienceExperience with Hubspot CRMPrevious experience selling Saas productsCompensation$70k base + quarterly commissionThis role is based in New York City with a hybrid WFH & office schedule (Monday-Thursday are our Tribeca in-office days, with flexibility for Friday at your preference).--WORK AUTHORIZATIONYou must have authorization to work in the United States.
