Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Property Manager to join the team at our successful property management company. The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for serving as the onsite Property Manager for certain assigned properties. Collaborate with Asset Management and other onsite staff to track their assigned portfolio's operational & financial performance. Assist in the preparation of reports to senior management, lenders, and regulators, as the case may be.

Responsibilities

Advertise vacant properties

Show properties to prospective tenants and inform them of all available amenities

Hold open houses

Qualify prospective tenants using background checks and references

Accept rental payments and provide receipts

Respond to tenant inquiries

Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and housing trends

Negotiate leasing terms and close deals

Inspect properties on a regular basis and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs

Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned

Follow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policies

Qualifications

4-year college degree preferred or minimum 5 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate property management.

The candidate must be well acquainted with compliance and regulatory issues, especially as regards to light-industrial industry.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills

Experience with property management software preferred

Possess a current California Real Estate Broker’s License or Real Estate Salesperson’s License or are willing to obtain one.

A current and valid California driver’s license is required.

Must have command of Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with e-mail systems, calendar & database programs is required. YARDI & LoopNet experience strongly preferred.
