SummaryLed by Save the Children, the Implementer-Led Design, Evidence, Analysis and Learning (IDEAL) Activity is a multi-year project funded by USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) that aims to strengthen the capacity of BHA implementing partners to design and implement effective emergency and non-emergency food security programs. IDEAL serves as a catalyst and facilitator of knowledge sharing and learning, evidence generation and application, and collaborative community building among food security implementers. The Peer-to-peer Evidence, Analysis, and Knowledge Sharing (PEAKS) activity is a multi-year Associate Award of the IDEAL Activity that is anticipated to start in October 2024. The Program Associate will provide administrative and project management support for IDEAL and PEAKS program staff.What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)Administrative Management and Operations (70%)Organize and support IDEAL/PEAKS project meetings and take meeting notesMaintain IDEAL/PEAKS project calendar for meetings, events, and travelSupport the procurement of vendors, consultants, and servicesAssist in managing of consultant agreements and paymentsAid staff and consultants in arranging travelCoordinate project-wide documentation and archiving processesProcess invoices, accurately code and track project expensesMaintain the IDEAL/PEAKS project's inventorySupport the IDEAL team in the planning and implementation of the closeout processSupport the PEAKS team in award startup processesOther tasks as requiredProgram Implementation Support (30%)Support work plan development and tracking, and program reportingSupport annual work planning, annual budget development, and regular internal learning processesSupport the planning and logistics of online and in-person knowledge sharing events and capacity strengthening workshops, including but not limited to:Procurement of venue and service providersCoordination with speakersPreparation of event materialsRequired QualificationsMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experienceExceptional organizational skillsProfessional proficiency in MS Office suiteProfessional proficiency in spoken and written EnglishDemonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externallyDemonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belongingPreferred QualificationsZoom, Miro, Eventbrite, and/or Mailchimp skillsProficiency supporting webinars and online meetingsExperience working in a low-to-middle-income countryUnderstanding of international development, emergency programs, and/or food security programmingFamiliarity with United States Government-funded projects, particularly USAIDCompensationSave the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target hourly pay for this position is $26.56 - $29.69Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target hourly pay for this position is $24.11 - $26.95Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target hourly pay for this position is $21.66 - $24.21The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
