Mid-Level Software Engineers

El Segundo, California, Annapolis Junction, Maryland, Fairfax, Virginia, or Huntington Beach, California .The position will involve creating software for world class, next generation disruptive systems and technologies. The selected candidate will work with the Disruptive Computing & Networks (DC&N) product team focused on the concept, requirements, architecture, design and development of a future system. We are looking for people who like to try new things and aren’t afraid of a challenge!This role will design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards. You will develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for systems integrations. Additionally, you will develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interface and design for software products.Position Responsibilities:Language & DatabasesRequirements/TracingSoftware Architecture & DesignHost EnvironmentSoftware Development ToolsSoftware Domain KnowledgeSupplier ManagementSoftware Implementation, Validation, and VerificationSoftware Development StandardsThis position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time systemExperience with the full software development lifecyclesExperience with requirements analysisExperience in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScriptExperience with configuration management and collaboration tools such as Git, JIRA, Collaborator, Beyond Compare, and VersionOneExperience with Agile development methodologiesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time systemActive Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with PolyExperience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc).Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).Relocation:
