Director of Modular Manufacturing Operations - Critical Facilities Solutions - Denver COOur client is searching for a Director of Operations for their Modular Data Center Manufacturing facility in Denver CO and will need to reside/relo to the nearby area. This position will require the prospective candidate to be onsite managing overall production/operations for their Modular Data Center Product that they provide to the Critical Facilities Industry. Prospect will require data center experience and MEP Construction experience to be considered.Responsibilities:Manage and provide leadership for the company's modular data center manufacturing operationsTrain and develop a high-performance Ops teamProvide world-class Operations processes and proceduresImplement/Create Ops programs such as: SOPs, MOPs, policies, practices, procedures, systems, and documentationBudgetary P/L responsibility along with experience with project costs, trend reports, monthly forecasts, etc. in conjunction with the finance teamReview and monitor: billings and change orders, and negotiation of subcontractors, monitoring of labor hours and project costs, coordination with suppliers, etc.Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with subcontractors, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendorsCoordinate timely completion of procurement procedures in conjunction with the purchasing teamResponsible for the administration of the signed subcontract requirements with respect to conformance with agreements, contract documents, and change ordersCoordinate ordering, processing, and delivery of materials and equipment with OEMs, vendors, and purchasingResponsible for initiating, overseeing, and verifying billingsVerify that all materials invoiced and work billed has been delivered to manufacturing facilityEnsure turnover and pre-production planning meetings are conductedConfirm bid matches contracted work and that an accurate budget is developedEnsure prompt review and processing of purchase orders, contract and subcontract agreementsProvide training, mentoring, coaching and leadership to Operations teamEnsure productivity tracking is implemented, updated and analyzed on a weekly basisEnsure that monthly cost projections are accurately and timely completedMaintain owner, customer, engineer and vendor relationships as requiredContinuously improve utilizing input from the team on improving procedures, productivity and efficiencyQualifications:5-10+ years data center/critical facilities experienceMEP (especially Electrical Power Systems Experience)Previous Modular data center constructionManufacturing Experience Required10+ years of customer facing experience serving as a liaison with suppliers, customers, etc.Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in school of hard knocksExperience in the manufacture and integration of mission critical facilities and modular/pre-fab data center productManufacturing Lean Six Sigma training and experience a huge plusOutstanding interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with employees, customers, and suppliersStrong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels, internally and externallyExcellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skillsExperience in a fast-paced hands-on business environment with responsibility for a teamExcellent organizational and time management skillsResults Oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure and to deliver against deadlinesAbility to negotiate critical and controversial issues with Company leadershipAbility to make authoritative decisions and recommendations having significant impact on the CompanyDemonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing and guiding extensive programs and activities of importanceLeader with exceptional attention to detail, admin skills and work ethicCapable of leading and influencing individuals, peers and executivesExperience with ERP and project management systems; including SAP, Viewpoint and BluebeamExcellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in the MS Office - Teams, Outlook, Excel, PPT, etc.Submittal Instructions:Please apply directly by clicking the link below, alternatively you can forward your resume directly to: 1rfwizn7bkz98ti5pt4gf38e6w@crelate.netAfter applying, if you have further questions, you may call 973-895-5200 and ask for Iggy.
