Job Details

The Staff Accountant will perform and work on assigned tasks with a minimum of assistance. You will report to the Senior Tax Staff and the Tax Manager.

Responsibilities

Prepares various tax returns for federal | state returns for partnerships, C-corporations, S-corporations, and individuals.Responsible for tax compliance and client management, including direct client contact as directed by management.Assist Manager and Partner with IRS auditsResponses to tax notices, or other returns needed to achieve outstanding client service.Demonstrates competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional and Firm standards.Meet time constraints and client deadlines.Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Proficiency in the use of computers and accounting & tax software programs.Accounting and financial statement preparation required.Experience with Lacerte Tax Software and QuickBooks, a plus.CPA Eligible or CPA Licensed.Well-rounded knowledge of current taxation codes and regulations.Ability to organize work and projects, prioritize and meet deadlines, and complete work efficiently and accurately.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
