Job Summary:

The Tax Business Partner will be primarily responsible for supporting the ASC 740 tax provision and related financial statement disclosures on a quarterly and annual basis, including current and deferred tax calculations, rate reconciliation, provision-to-return adjustments, and valuation allowance and uncertain tax provision analyses. This position will also help with preparation of federal and multi-state tax returns and tax audit support. This role requires a proactive individual who is detail oriented and capable of managing data preparation, account analysis, and work-paper creation to support tax filings and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze all book-to-tax differences for assigned entities for tax return and tax provision compliance and reconcile differences between tax provision and tax returns.

Prepare ASC 740 Tax Provision calculations, including current and deferred tax, rate reconciliations, FIN 48, and valuation allowance analysis.

Prepare and analyze tax account reconciliations.

Assist with tax rate forecasting and cash tax projections to aid in quarterly and annual budgeting efforts.

Assist in tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from taxing authorities.

Prepare quarterly estimated payments, extension filing.

Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues to ensure compliance. Stay up-to-date with the latest federal, state, and local tax legislative changes.

Utilize OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax Software (Alteryx knowledge a plus).

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline required.

Master’s Degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.

Experience:

5 years or more of relevant experience in large multinational corporate tax environment and/or top tier accounting firm required.

5 years or more ONESOURCE Income Tax/Provision and Workday preferred.

Analytical proficiency and knowledge of ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook) intermediate required.

Licenses and Certifications:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) upon hire preferred.

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: $100,000

Maximum Pay Range: $115,000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
