Senior Internal Communications SpecialistAs an Internal Communications Senior Specialist on our Global Communications team, we’ll count on you to bring to life our strategy, mission, values, and culture. You’ll produce creative, customized content on behalf of and for Capital Group’s Investment Group, sharing strategic and operational messaging with internal audiences. You’ll help connect the Investment Group to our business, our leaders, and one another in an authentic, purposeful, and compelling way.
You’re a writer who can develop key messaging, talking points, and original content for a variety of communication channels. You foster relationships with your stakeholders to understand their strategy, objectives, and challenges. You establish a consistent voice and tone — one that reflects our brand attributes of being principled, passionate, relatable, and forward-thinking. You have sound project management practices, holding yourself accountable for deadlines and the ability to prioritize and flex to business needs.
Qualifications
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher, with an emphasis in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
You have several years of experience as a writer, editor, and/or internal communications specialist and a strong portfolio of work showcasing content you have developed for domestic and global audiences.
You have some knowledge of the investment industry and are eager to learn about our business, history, and investment offerings.
You work quickly and can project manage multiple projects daily.
You have worked previously with stakeholders to develop content and are able to navigate multiple reviewers, sometimes with differing opinions.
You are digitally savvy. You have a good understanding of digital channels and how to write for them effectively.
You thrive in team settings and are looking for a writing & communications role that will allow you to partner as a strategic consultant to the business.
You are comfortable working a hybrid schedule (3 days/wk in office) in either the Los Angeles, CA or New York City areas.
CompensationSouthern California Base Salary Range: $131,596-$210,554
New York Base Salary Range: $139,498-$223,197
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus, plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are excluded from the above-mentioned compensation and benefit plans.
