Global responsibility for leading, developing, and executing strategies to drive revenue growth with a weighted engagement in Ecommerce of branded websites: Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, Steinberger, Mesa Boogie, and KRK. Global responsibility also includes the Gibson Garage, DTX, and partner websites across multiple platforms of ecomm, retail, mobile, and other DTC channels. Strategies are inclusive of expanding the global DTC presence, strengthening customer relationships, and maximizing the potential of our iconic brands through organizational development, roll-out sequence, and operational excellence to maximize profitable growth. Position is full-time in Nashville, TN at Gibson Brands, Inc Headquarters.Essential FunctionsDevelop a 3-year DTC Strategy Business Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive DTC strategy that aligns with Gibson's overall business goals and objectives with defined commercial revenue growth plans, ensuring the long-term success of our direct-to-consumer initiatives.Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand the DTC business, leveraging our product portfolio, brand equity, and customer base.Demand Creation: Storytelling and campaign activation.Omni-Channel: Strive for industry leadership providing exceptional product brand and service experiences.Design a global DTC Commerce system architecture and modern User Interfaces.Establish seamless interconnection with Gibson Brands ERP system (D365).Drive continual improvement regarding UI/UX consumer experience (mobile first).Guide brand strategy around front side user experience including site navigation/orientation, home page, landing pages, PDP pages, cart/checkout, and payment (incl. tax) management.E-commerce Platform Management: Oversee the management and enhancement of our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless user experience, optimized conversion rates, and secure transactions.Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, customer preferences, and emerging growth opportunities for our brands within the DTC space.Product and Pricing Strategy: Collaborate closely with product management and marketing teams to develop compelling product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotions that resonate with our target audience and drive sales through DTC channels.Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition: Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media, email marketing, and affiliate marketing, to drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, and customer loyalty.Analytics and Performance Tracking: Implement robust analytics and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor business performance, and derive actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, product management, supply chain, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of DTC initiatives.Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing DTC team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in the DTC space, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance Gibson's competitive advantage and pioneer new approaches.Develop the Retail Operational standards and cadence, including policies and guidelines which encompass organizational model, process cadence, staff training, and consumer service.Inventory Management: Work closely with finance, local and global DTC Ecommerce teams, Retail and DTX merchandising team to define local relevant DTC ranges, specific needs, and profitability.Other DutiesEmployee can be asked to perform other duties that are reasonable within the area of expertise.Required Skills/AbilitiesSkills and CompetenciesSkilled in building excellent UI architecture and UX experiences.Online and digital savvy.Assortment Planning, Site Merchandising, and Marketing Activation (Demand Creation).Ecommerce and Retail Growth Levers, KBDs, Retail Math, Merchandising Metrics.Excellent Brand and Digital Marketing skills; expertise in Shopper, Recommender, and Influencer Marketing as well as Consumer acquisition and retention.Ability to acquire Ecommerce and Retail related technology skills quickly.Fluent communication skills in English.Ability to remain objective and exercise good judgment, decision making, diplomacy, and discretion.Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).Proven experience (10+ years) in developing and implementing successful DTC strategies within the consumer products industry with strong ecommerce and retail P&L ownership.Strong understanding of Omni-Channel, e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and analytics tools relevant to the DTC space.Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives through DTC initiatives with strong experience in Demand and Inventory Planning, as well as Order to Cash process operation.Experienced in Retail Operations, Retail conceptualization, Retail design, and location management.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data and make informed decisions.Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and results-oriented approach leading and developing international teams.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Passion for music and sound, with a deep appreciation for Gibson's brands and products.Experience in working in a dynamic international premium branded consumer goods company.Knowledge of the music industry, consumer electronics, and familiarity with emerging market trends within these sectors.Experienced/Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook and Business Tools.Internal:International locations.External:Sales office locations.Festivals.3rd party system providers.We celebrate diversity and Gibson Brands, Inc is an
