Overview:Alnylam is seeking a Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (MOSL) to join a high performing customer facing team in US Medical Affairs. The successful candidate will leverage their experience and expertise of the US healthcare landscape to maintain best-in-class scientific presence as "trusted advisors" to key decision makers focused on value and access in the United States healthcare ecosystem, specifically US Health Systems (IDNs), Specialty Pharmacies, and Group Purchasing Organizations. a Payer facing role.Only candidates that live in the Mid-Atlantic will be considered for this territory.This position will report to the Director of the IDN MOSL team.Key Responsibilities:Perform with clear accountability and urgency for achieving results.Possess a "one team, one goal" mindset and ways of working through close collaboration with key cross-functional partners. Be a

"Trusted Medical Advisor"

for all partners in their territories.Engage and build relationships with IDNs and other healthcare systems.Engage in scientific exchange to understand customer data needs, gather feedback and scientific insights that may identify data to support the value proposition of the Alnylam portfolio.In collaboration with the Strategic Account Lead (SAL), develop account specific strategic plans of action, including a detailed assessment of key influencers and decision makers within each account.Collect and share insights and evidence gaps that help to inform the Value, Evidence, and Strategy (VESt) Team to advance data generation that is meaningful to key decision makers.Identify potential scientific research collaboration opportunities, including real-world evidence generation, by leveraging internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Value and Access, VESt) to address evidence needs to support Alnylam's scientific objectives.Support regional and national IDN / healthcare systems congresses as needed.Have a thorough understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industries' compliance requirements along with applicable PhRMA Codes, OIG guidelines, FDA related laws, regulations, and Alnylam's policies.Qualifications:5+ years Medical Affairs (pharmaceutical/biotech industry) experience. Prior field-based experience working directly with Health Systems is highly preferred.Advanced degree in life sciences in one or more of the following: MD, DO, PharmD, PhD. Relevant residency, HEOR Fellowship, MS, MBA or MPH is a plus.Therapeutic Area knowledge and experience in rare diseases is preferred.Demonstrated understanding of pharmacoeconomic and health outcomes research principles is strongly preferred.Solid working knowledge of the US healthcare ecosystems.Possess a willingness and ability to work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced, scientific, entrepreneurial environment.Solid working knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment.Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to and engage with a wide range of audiences.Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.Ability to travel up to 75%.About Alnylam:
