Make a difference, come join the team!What's the role?The Manager Business Process Excellence - Procure to Pay is responsible for leading the transformation and optimization of procurement and payment processes at ZEISS. This key role involves driving the SAP S/4HANA implementation to standardize and harmonize the procure-to-pay cycle, enhancing efficiency and compliance across the organization.Sound Interesting?Here's what you'll do:Supplier Management: Oversee supplier relationship management, including the solicitation of bids, negotiation of contracts, and ongoing vendor performance evaluation. Implement best practices in demand management to optimize supplier engagement.Purchase Order Processing: Manage all aspects of purchase order processing, encompassing material and service purchasing as well as intercompany transactions. Ensure processes are compliant, efficient, and scalable.Accounts Payable Management: Lead the accounts payable team to enhance invoice verification, approval processes, and timely vendor payments. Implement technology solutions to automate and streamline operations, reducing errors and improving throughput.System Integration and Optimization: Collaborate with IT and external consultants to ensure the successful integration of the SAP S/4HANA system. Focus on building a robust procure-to-pay system that supports organizational needs and compliance requirements.Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop strategic plans to improve procurement and payment processes. Monitor implementation and make necessary adjustments to achieve key performance indicators and business objectives.Change Management and Communication: Drive change initiatives within the procure-to-pay workstream. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and buy-in for transformation projects.Do you qualify?Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in managing projects focused on business process excellence, particularly in procurement and accounts payable within an SAP ERP environment.Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Excellent communication and change management skills.Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking skills.Advanced project management capabilities.Robust analytical and decision-making skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and influencing senior leadership.Proficient in change management, capable of driving change across the organization.We have amazing benefits to support you as an employee at ZEISS!MedicalVisionDental401k MatchingEmployee Assistance ProgramsVacation and sick payThe list goes on!The annual pay range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
