Our broad spectrum of practices and entrepreneurial spirit allow our staff exceptional opportunities for professional achievement and career growth.Wilson Sonsini is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Attorney Recruiting Assistant to become part of our core San Francisco Attorney Recruiting team. You’ll play a key role in recruiting for summer associate, entry-level, judicial clerk, lateral associate, and patent agent. We’re looking for a team player who can thrive under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and think creatively. This role promises ample room for growth and the opportunity to work in an energetic, client-focused environment.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work closely with the San Francisco Attorney Recruiting Specialist and the broader Law School Attorney Recruiting team with planning and executing of the summer program, tracking the budget, and plan and attending Bay Area-based events as required.Assisting with gathering evaluations, coordinating check-ins and reviews, and facilitating the San Francisco summer associates' offer process.Handling administrative aspects of on-campus and entry-level recruiting, including registration for on-campus interviews and job fairs, interview scheduling, candidate monitoring, correspondence, and coordination of the San Francisco office's onboarding processes.Supporting strategic relationships with Career Services professionals, law school student groups, search firms, and others to boost the firm’s recruiting strategies and brand awareness.Assisting with the onboarding and integration of new hires and helping with the San Francisco summer, fall, lateral, and patent agent hires' integration activities.Support firmwide judicial clerk recruiting efforts, including candidate tracking, interviews, and recruiting events.Coordinating with various teams across the firm to enhance our diversity, integration, and retention efforts.Coordinating onsite recruiting and attorney integration and appreciation events with the San Francisco Recruiting Manager, Office Administrator, Site Manager, and Receptionist.Updating and maintaining recruiting records and creating reports from the firm's Applicant Tracking System and Workday.The ideal candidate for this position has:A bachelor's degree required.At least one year of professional recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services, is preferred.Ability to set priorities, work independently and handle a variety of duties effectively under time constraints.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Superior analytical skills, attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.A motivated, creative mindset with the ability to make sound business decisions.An understanding of unconscious bias and its impact on recruiting and hiring.Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of firm personnel and external clients.Knowledge of the attorney recruiting process and legal employment issues is a plus.Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion.Proficiency with MS Office and applicant tracking systems, ideally Workday, viRecruit, and Flo Recruit.The primary location for this job posting is in San Francisco. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows: $24.52 - $33.17 per hour.The compensation for this position may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
