The Purpose:
The Shopping Graph team at Slickdeals is seeking a Staff Product Manager to help build a well-structured and accurate knowledge graph of the best deals on the internet. This knowledge graph, powered by AI, powers the proprietary deal recommendation engine that makes Slickdeals the leader in deal discovery. This role will drive some of the most critical technology investments at Slickdeals that millions of shoppers use every day. We’re looking for a scrappy, deeply technical and strategic product leader to help us acquire, understand, and organize the best deals on the internet.
What You'll Do:
Drive the vision, product strategy, and execution of Slickdeals’ Shopping Graph, which includes our product catalog & ingestion pipelines, deal quality and performance measurement, and knowledge graph.Grow the selection of deals that power Slickdeals’ search and discovery experiences.Use data to identify and prioritize onboarding the merchants and categories most likely to drive shopper engagement and retention.Build proprietary tools & models that help our editorial staff and key XFN partners score deals based on predicted deal performance and accuracy.Build the technology & processes that enable us to maintain a high accuracy rate of deal metadata.Collaborate with other cross-functional leaders and product teams to align the company on our roadmap and resolve dependencies.
What We're Looking For:
Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fast-growing companies.Experience developing complex, innovative technology solutions that scale for millions of users.You are extremely data-driven — you’re comfortable writing SQL, interpreting complex data sets, and designing effective content experiments.You are deeply technical — you can get into the weeds on a technical architecture and understand how an ML model works.Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with multiple stakeholders to quickly deliver solutions that create value for your users.Ability to define and validate hypotheses quickly with qualitative and quantitative data.
LOCATION:
San Mateo or Los Angeles
Hybrid schedule visiting our San Mateo or Los Angeles office three days a week (Tues-Thurs).
