Property Manager
will provide leadership to site staff, direction for building operations, customer service, resident relations, property budget management, rent collections, leasing, compliance and guidance on maintenance priorities. We are looking for applicable experience in management and customer service.This position will lead operations at New Tacoma I, a 75-unit affordable Senior Housing community and New Tacoma II, a 40-unit affordable Senior Housing community in Tacoma, WA.We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.Pay:
$30.00 /hour15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays.Early close Fridays - 3 paid hours off early each Friday.Health, dental (adult and child orthodontia included), vision, and pet insurance.Employer paid life insurance.Quarterly bonus pay to on-site staff.403b + match, paid volunteer time, and more.Minimum Qualifications of PositionHigh school diploma or equivalent.Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and Tenant laws.Experience being accountable for financials.Preferred Qualifications of PositionProfessional certification in property or affordable housing management.Minimum two (2) years of administrative, accounting, customer service, and/or supervisory experience.Previous housing or property management experience including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.Knowledge and SkillsComprehend and communicate in the English language both orally and in writing.Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license).Proficient with Microsoft Office.*This is a brief description summarizing the abilities needed for the position.Mercy Housing is a fair chance employer; while we conduct background checks for all positions, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
