Uniworld owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Nautical Team we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional in the role of:2nd Captain
Your responsibilities will include:Navigating
the ship according to guidelines and safety regulations of the companyResponsibility for
safety
equipment and safety regulations on boardMaintenance
of our ships during the season and in winter timeBeing a team leader
of the deck crew, reporting to the first captain.You:Have experience in a similar role on
Rhine-Main-DanubeHave experience with
Z-Drive
systems (not a must)Have at least a
license
for the Rhine until Mainz and/or DanubeAre an innovative, flexible and proactive leader and team playerHave the ability to communicate and conduct business fluently in
German
and/or
EnglishHave good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Are willing to learn and grow in your roleWe:Are a company with strong values; we are committed to our social, economic, and environmental responsibilitiesAre experts in
