Our compliance and risk management team is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Payment Operations Specialist.
Job Summary:
The Payment Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operations of Aeropay’s payment network. This role involves closely monitoring transaction activities, addressing alerts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall health and risk management of the payment system.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitor daily activity on the Aeropay payment network.
Process requests and early warning alerts to ensure healthy transactions and effective risk management.
Collaborate with the development team to enhance tools, automate routine tasks, and address recurring issues.
Take ownership of payment issues, working with external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Support the broader Aeropay team when needed.
Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including company officers, directors, and managers.
Perform other related duties to contribute to the mission of the organization.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a payment operations or related role is an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
