ABOUT THE ROLE:Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, the Float Branch Administration Manager is responsible for assisting the VP/Regional Manager by providing leadership and direction to the branches within the region. Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training the Float Team. Ensures that all team members deliver exceptional customer service, aligned with the Credit Union's core values and mission statement. Ensures that Float Team Members work as a team, adhere to Navigant's policies and procedures, and achieve their sales goals. Assigns Float Staff and self to branches within the region to assist members and prospects with all their banking needs. Acts as a liaison between AVP/Branch Managers within the region and the VP/Regional Manager. Provides support to both parties as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruits, onboards, and trains Float Team Members.

Manages Float Team, establishes performance expectations for Float Staff, including conducting performance evaluations and performance management. Recommends the necessary discipline and/or discharge of subordinate staff members, while maintaining required personnel documentation.

Coaches and mentors Float Team Members and conducts monthly one-on-one meetings.

Determines scheduling and staffing for the region by identifying gaps and allocating Float Staff accordingly.

Assists AVP/Branch Managers with Saturday Schedules and Vacations to ensure branches are staffed appropriately.

Works at different branches assisting branch personnel by answering questions and resolving more complex work-related problems. Proactively identifies inconsistencies and works with VP/Regional Manager to enhance processes.

Oversees branch operations and ensures that policies and procedures are being met in the absence of the AVP/Branch Managers.

Provides administrative and/or miscellaneous support to the AVP/Branch Managers or VP/Regional Manager as needed.

Performs all duties of a Loan Officer. Takes loan applications, interviews members, provides disclosures, conducts credit checks, etc. and ensures documentation is complete.

Maintains a positive working relationship with outside vendors to resolve problems and remains current on new product development. Keeps abreast of new rules and regulations that may impact Retail Banking Operations.

Participates in management meetings. Communicates information to subordinate staff. Participates in local civic and community organizations to seek new business opportunities.

Reviews incoming Web Loans and assigns them to the appropriate branch across all regions.

Performs other managerial and/or branch related duties as assigned by the VP-Regional Branch Manager. Performs all duties of an Assistant Manager, Member Services Representative, Head Teller, Assistant Head Teller and/or Teller as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) education required. BA/BS in Business, Finance or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

Minimum 3 to 5 years progressively responsible experience in branch operations. Knowledge of teller, member service, and loan policies. Minimum two years previous supervisory experience.

Must possess excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.

Must possess strong service orientation skills in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values.

PC proficient including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet.

Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.

Ability to sell products and services and conduct business development calls on members and potential members.

Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, fax, copier, telephone, postage machine, etc. Travel required.
