Job Description

AECOM is looking for an Associate Vice President for a New Jersey movable bridge practice. This role involves acting as both a seller and doer, focusing on commuter rail, freight rail, light rail, and highway bridge movable structures. The successful candidate will support the ongoing growth of our well-established practice and drive business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee project execution as a project manager on movable bridge projects, guiding teams through various project phases including construction.

Technical Leadership: Lead the development of technical project concepts and play a key role in the pursuit phase to secure new projects.

Business Development: Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new project opportunities. Participate in the formation of project teams and go/no-go decisions on potential projects.

Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed to meet project and client needs.

Qualifications:Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership experience.

Current P.E. license with ability to obtain reciprocity in other states.

Successful record as project manager with the delivery of on time and on budget movable bridge projects, in all project phases including design and construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree with 12 years experience

Project experience on commuter rail/freight rail bridges and State DOT bridges.

Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes.

Project management skills, including proposal preparation

·Experience in traditional and alternative delivery
