Together, we make it happen.ResponsibilitiesWHAT YOU’LL DO:As a direct report to the Facility Manager of CPC, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing warehousing operations in our Container Processing Center (CPC) located in Pooler, GA, in support of the Port of Savannah. You will ensure the smooth warehouse operations and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence. Your exceptional leadership skills and keen attention to detail will be instrumental in managing a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:Lead and inspire your team, driving a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork that delivers workforce performance.Oversee day-to-day warehousing operations of the CPC focused on receiving parts warehousing, parts distribution, shipping, and support of onsite container processing services.Implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize quality control, productivity, and minimize downtime.Partner with the Facility Manager and Operations Manager to develop and execute plans focused on growth, process optimization, and cost reduction, ensuring the facility's long-term success.Maintain a strong understanding of customer requirements ensuring exceptional service delivery.QualificationsWHAT YOU’LL NEED:3 years of warehousing supervisory experience.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices.Strong risk management skills to identify and address safety hazards and minimize operational disruptions when operating heavy machinery.Familiarity with using warehouse management systems and related software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management experience required).Experience with Lean Management tools and principles (e.g., 5S, Kanban, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Gemba walks, Muda, Poka-yoke).EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:Knowledge of operating light and heavy forklifts.Knowledge using cranes to load and unload machines.Experience with proper chaining and securement techniques to ensure safe transit of cargo.WHERE YOU’LL BE WORKING:In this worksite-based role, you will be responsible for managing high & heavy machine assembly/processing operations at a Container Processing Center (CPC) in Pooler, GA.
