School DirectorJob SummaryThe Daytime Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and positive environment during lunch and recess periods. This position involves supervising students, enforcing school policies, and providing support as needed to facilitate a smooth and enjoyable midday break.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision:
Monitor and supervise students during lunch and recess periods to ensure their safety and well-being.Conflict Resolution:
Address and resolve minor conflicts and behavioral issues among students in a fair and consistent manner.Safety:
Ensure that students adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including maintaining appropriate behavior in designated areas.Support:
Provide assistance to students as needed, including helping with opening lunch containers, ensuring they have access to necessary resources, and offering support in the event of minor accidents or injuries.Compliance:
Enforce school policies and procedures regarding student conduct and report any significant issues or incidents to the appropriate school staff.Collaboration:
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to coordinate activities and address any concerns related to student behavior or safety.Communication:
Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and parents as needed, and provide feedback on student behavior and lunchtime activities.Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage and supervise groups of children effectively.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students.Ability to handle minor conflicts and emergencies calmly and professionally.Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with minor physical tasks, including helping students as needed.QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:
