Established Structural Steel Fabricator/Erector and Contractor seeking an Experienced Project Manager to help grow their San Diego footprint!Position will assist the jobsite foreman and oversee the Project Engineer to effectively manage projects. Company is located in the Temecula Area and will work on-site 2-3 days a week/ visit job sites in San Diego 2-3 days a week (may start/end day in field on these days - truck and fuel card provided).Responsibilities:
8+ years in the steel fabrication industryMust read drawings (structural, architectural, shop drawings)Manage and advise Detailers regarding shop drawingsComputer literate (Microsoft Office, Procore, Veo & Dropbox)Tekla EPM/Power Fab experience a plusHighly organized and able to excel at meeting schedules under pressureProject management experience requiredAble to manage multiple projects at one timeManage, delegate, and teach their Project Engineer/Coordinator on all aspects of their projectsGood attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepanciesKnowledge of Bluebeam applicationsCurrent version of AutoCAD Drafting is a plusParticipate in job site meetings, kick-off meetings, and job walksUnderstanding structural framing and elements of a buildingAssist in project close-outAssist in the document control of various projects assigned including RFI’s, Submittals, etc.Work with Project Engineer to schedule work and fabricated items for deliveryCompensation:
Compensation is up to $150K + bonuses. Client offers competitive compensation packages along with benefits such as health insurance 100% (employer paid for Employee + family), 401(k), and company truck/fuel card.
