Must have experience with indirect corporate procurement.Develops and implements procurement strategies for key commodities and spend categories to optimize purchasing power and achieve financial objectives for a business unit.Sources and evaluates suppliers, negotiates contracts, and maintains relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.Manages the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements and provides guidance and support throughout the procurement process.Monitors and analyzes market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.Maintains records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information, and generates reports on performance.Implements and enforces procurement procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and standards.Mentors, coaches, provides feedback and evaluates the performance of Buyers as required.Collaborates with leaders to establish short and long-term supply chain objectives.Leads cross-functional teams.Evaluates vendor capabilities, reliability, and financial stability for qualification purposes.Performs other duties as assigned.Education:
