Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Beverage Director and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Wildflower Farms team, you will be responsible for managing the restaurant, event and beverage teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Managing inventory and purchasing supplies and ingredients for drinks on the menu. Updating the beverage menu when trends or inventory changes. Ensure menu items are priced correctly to achieve Beverage Cost.

Hiring and training staff on food and drink preparation, health and safety, and alcoholic beverage service.

Ensure adequate staffing levels for the bar team at all times, while adhering to budget guidelines.

Ensuring guests have a positive dining experience and include their experience with surprise and delights when possible.

Enforcing health and safety standards and food safety compliance. Implementing rules and educating staff on how to prepare, store, and present food, as well as washing hands and wearing protective clothing.

Ensure the bar team has adequate knowledge of food & beverage ingredients.

Continuous training of the bar team to provide luxury service to guests.

Support the bar team to conduct proper opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the bar is adequately stocked with all items needed for a shift.

Engage with guests during their dining experience to ensure all needs are met.

Conduct daily meetings with the bar team to ensure knowledge of daily operations and beverage offerings.

Assist with overall restaurant management to include but not limited to floor shifts, bartender support, wine recommendations for guests, etc.

Comply with all Federal, State, and Local beverage regulations.

Through frequent inventory checks, monitor beverage inventory levels to ensure adequate inventory levels at all times.

Completion of monthly inventory.

Attending meetings as necessary (BEO, Rallies, Leadership, etc.).

Partnering with Events team to assist with beverage ordering for events.

Ensure that all beverage storage areas remain organized and secure at all times.

Any other duty as assigned.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $90,000

Qualifications

At least two years experience in the restaurant/hotel industry in a beverage management capacity.

Knowledge of wine, wine service, beverage standards, and various drink recipes. Sommelier certification is preferred.

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
