Job Description

As the

VP of Retail Sales , you will drive innovative sales strategies with our Big Box retail partner with market-leading products and solutions that

set the pace in the industry . You’ll collaborate with channel marketing to develop and implement programs that maximize sales, profit, and market share, while overseeing product planning, pricing, forecasting, and lifecycle management. Your role will be pivotal in

developing ecosystems that change the game , creating products that customers can’t live without, and fostering long-term partnerships.

You will build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers,

creating impactful business plans

and market strategies for key accounts. You will manage and mentor your team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and drive productivity and efficiency to new levels.

The

ideal candidate

will have a bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business, with 10+ years of sales and national accounts management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. You should bring 8+ years of experience driving sales and marketing in big box retail channels, with a proven ability to manage teams, think strategically, and meet the needs of both consumers and retail partners.

This role will work a

hybrid

schedule 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from our

Mooresville, NC office.

You will also travel domestically up to 30% for customer visits, store checks, test markets, and various office site visits.

What You Will Be Doing:

Manage and Guide : Guide and mentor the Account Management team fostering a high-performance culture.

Collaborate with Channel Marketing : Develop and execute innovative sales strategies and programs that drive sales, profit, and market share, setting industry standards.

Build Impactful Relationships : Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with key customers, becoming a trusted partner.

Innovate Product Strategies : Work with Channel Marketing to create selling strategies for product launches, promotions, and lifecycle management.

Oversee Key Operations : Manage product planning, pricing, forecasting, and discontinuations for National Account Managers.

Develop Business Plans : Create and manage business plans, sales forecasts, and budgets to maximize account growth.

Drive Change : Partner with Channel Marketing on product launches, promotions, and team training, and keep senior leadership informed on sales activities, market trends, and competitive practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or a related field.

10+ years of sales and management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

8+ years of experience driving sales and marketing in retail channels.

Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
