Join BBA and make the most of your experience by actively contributing to the growth of the Mining and Metals group. The growth of our group of experts in mineral resource estimation is essential in achieving our strategic objectives. Reporting to the Vice-President, Mining and Metals, you’ll be responsible for designing business strategies that promote BBA’s growth in resource estimation expertise, for supporting our teams’ professional development and for assisting with business development. You’ll also be expected to participate actively in various resource estimation projects by serving as a qualified person (QP).
An overview of your mandates and responsibilitiesDesign the strategic and action plans to foster the growth and development of our resource estimation expertise.Increase internal visibility of the expertise by collaborating with different key people to increase cross-selling.Identify high-potential projects at the exploratory stage to build a project portfolio.Serve as a mentor in the professional development of our future QPs.Keep up to date with best practices in relation to changes or developments in mineral resource estimation methods and reporting regulations.Help prepare technical reports and studies (NI 43-101, preliminary engineering, pre-feasibility and feasibility).Serve as a QP on NI 43-101 related projects.Conduct quality audits on advanced exploration or development projects for all aspects of geology (drilling, sampling, analyzing, QA/QC and estimating mineral resources) and ensure important recommendations are implemented.Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
