TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.Responsibilities:

Establish, optimize and simplify relative management system/procedure/policies; supervise the implementation of all policies and procedures to improve overall efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.Build a team with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility; allocate and balance the work across direct reports and provide timely feedback.Mentor, develop, and motivate team members; help resolve people/functional issues to achieve targeted department performance and retain key talent.Review planning accuracy and inventory levels monthly; create action plans for improvement to achieve yearly targets.Regularly review with the purchasing group to ensure materials are ready for production as planned.Proactively communicate with manufacturing on any issues impacting normal production; implement necessary recovery plans.Review production output daily and drive operations to achieve output goals.Manage, optimize, and upgrade the vendor base to ensure competent vendors support current and future business needs.Build strong partnerships with strategic vendors in compliance with TE's procurement policy.Monthly review of cost-saving results and action plans to achieve yearly targets.Monitor inventory reports monthly and create action plans to achieve yearly targets.Conduct monthly BU supply chain review meetings to develop planning strategies and achieve yearly targets.Oversee and strictly follow EHS rules implementation to avoid any accidents.What your background should look like:

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of materials/supply chain management experience in large electric industrial companies.Master's Degree/APICS Certification is a plus.Data-driven with experience in ERP systems and IT systems at customer interface (e.g., SAP, EDI, Excel).Strong communication skills, customer focus, ability to work under pressure, accountability, passion, and energy.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Experience in process improvement.Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration.ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $94,800- $142,320 (subject to change dependent on physical location).Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.BENEFITS
