Renewable EnergyWhy Consider this Job Opportunity:Competitive base salaryOpportunity for career advancement and growth within the organizationFully remote work opportunityComprehensive compensation packagesOpen PTO policyHealth benefits and flexible work hoursWhat to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Take ownership of project-based financial reporting and journal entries involving multi-entity structuresWork with EPC Project Managers to assess and track project costs and measure performance towards critical project milestonesLead capitalization implementation accounting initiatives in coordination with Project Development and EPC TeamsPlay a key role in project contract accounting requirements and compliance through the development of financial reporting packagesLead revenue recognition assessments based on Lease Accounting ASC842 and Revenue Recognition ASC606 requirementsWhat is Required (Qualifications):5+ years of corporate finance and accounting experience dealing with GAAP principlesExperience with Project Based Accounting - Project Development, EPC, Construction, Service Contracts, LeasesExpertise in Quickbooks or similar financial accounting software programsAccounting expertise in MS Excel including macro/VBA writing capabilities, data queries, and pivot tablesMust be well-versed in dealing with financial statements, financial reports, and financial reviewsHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) highly preferredExperience supporting financial reporting and accounting initiatives for EPC or Construction operationsUnderstanding of national energy power market tariffs and incentives
