THE ROLE

Maryville Consulting Group is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive growth within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) solutions practice.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling FP&A solutions that address key areas such as budgeting and forecasting, cost transparency, portfolio management, chargeback and allocation models, and decision analysis. As an individual contributor, you will independently prospect and qualify leads within U.S.-based Fortune 500 organizations, while also collaborating with colleagues and software partners to craft compelling solutions that meet client needs.

Our ideal candidate has experience in selling FP&A solutions to large, complex organizations and is adept at identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. You will work closely with our team of practitioners and strategy consultants to inform proposals and ensure that opportunities are well-qualified.Furthermore you will collaborate with our software partners and their specialists to advance their offerings in our markets.Your success will be measured by your ability to build a robust sales pipeline, close high-value deals, and expand Maryville’s footprint within the FP&A domain.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Sales Professional focused on FP&A Solutions, you will have the following responsibilities:

Prospect and qualify leads within U.S.-based Fortune 500 organizations, leveraging both independent efforts and collaboration with internal teams.

Work closely with practitioners and strategy consultants to develop proposals that address client challenges in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Build and manage relationships with senior leadership within target organizations, positioning Maryville as a trusted advisor for FP&A solutions.

Drive awareness of best practices in FP&A and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the sales process.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry-leading FP&A platforms and tools to effectively communicate their value to clients.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 5+ years of solution selling, with experience in FP&A software

Strong track record of prospecting and closing deals with Fortune 500 organizations

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to uncovering new opportunities

Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers

Experience in working with partner ecosystems in the software industry

Strong communication and collaboration skills—thrives upon interaction with executive leadership

Ability and willingness to travel as needed, with flexibility to manage your travel schedule

This position is available within the United States as a remote position, or within St. Louis or Boston as an office-based role.
