Associate Director of Short-Term Mission Teams

The Associate Director – Short Term Mission Teams will collaborate closely with the Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for deploying 100+ teams to the field annually, in order to meet East-West goals. This includes working with the Director – Short Term Mission Trips to ensure all trips are properly registered, as well as provide metrics for reporting purposes. The Associate Director will shepherd the team of Catalysts, providing guidance and leadership, especially when faced with difficulties. This role will personally lead the coordination of 4 STMTs each year. The Associate Director is responsible to ensure all policies, forms, procedures, etc. are being complied with by STMT Team Leaders. The Associate Director will represent the Director when absent and is responsible for playing their part to achieve the bigger mission of East-West and for ensuring that all ministry activities are clearly aligned with East-West Vision, Mission, Values, Statement of Faith, and Biblical principles.This is a fully support-raised position.Lead/Oversee the daily operational and tactical needs of the STMT Catalysts, which includes:
Shepherding the development of the team of CatalystsProvide leadership and problem-solving abilities to Catalysts during difficult situationsLead development and implementation of process improvements of the STMT timeline
Oversee STMT timeline & coordinate 4 trips annually including booking airfare, hotels, visa, etc.Lead or co-lead two or more overseas trips annuallyLead, attend, and/or contribute to East-West sponsored spiritual formation activities and perform other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceUphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus ChristA baptized believer of Jesus ChristHigh commitment to, and practices, regular prayer and time in the WordExperience in sharing his/her faith with a clear, concise gospel messageExperience in effectively discipling new followers of Jesus, preferredTrained biblically and theologicallyExperience in cross-cultural ministry, preferredHow To ApplyApply here:
