Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Strategy Development:Responsible for Building Products regional/sub-segment strategy development and execution in cooperation with regional sales, business development and marketing.Establishment of regional/sub-segment gap analysis and action plan for closure.Provide competitive intelligence and positioning guidance.Market Development:Responsibility for value proposition development, deployment, best practice sharing and replication.Act in a business development capacity for specific customer opportunities as defined by Segment Director.Generalist business development support at times in USCA.Manage segment Approved Applicator Program for AAMA liquid and powder platforms.Product Development & Management:Establish new product development pipeline based on regional/sub-segment plans.Use the Navigator/Stage Gate process to recommend and manage product development activity.Assist with product consolidation products to better service subsegments and drive profitability.Marketing Communication:Collaborate with MarComm team regarding Building Product segment specific market materials.Partner with MarComm to establish a list of relevant trade shows, define how Building Products segment will be present and align on objectives of attendance.Lead demand generation activities / design & deliver market & product training, both internally & externally.Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTSFORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:Bachelor’s degree in business or chemistry related field.Preferred:Major in Business, Communications or Chemistry.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:Minimum 7-10 Years in sales and/or marketing experience in B2B required.Preferred:5 years coatings experience.Experience managing complex sales cycles- (6-12 Months, Approval Required, Multiple Application sites).About Us
