Case Management:
Review files and conduct legal analysis of claims and causes of action related to premises liability.Legal Research & Drafting:
Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.Client Representation:
Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions.Discovery:
Draft and respond to discovery requests, including managing expert witness retention and collaboration.Trial Preparation:
Prepare for and attend trials, ensuring thorough and effective representation.Billable Hours:
Meet an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.Travel:
Some travel may be required for case-related matters.Additional Duties:
Assist with cases in other practice areas if applicable.Requirements:
Experience:
4+ years of experience in General Liability with a focus on premises liability.Education:
J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.Licensure:
Admitted to practice in the State of Florida; admission in other states is a plus.Skills:
Exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills.Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong research capabilities and written and oral communication skills.Excellent client interaction skills and telephone manner.Ability to self-manage and work effectively in a team environment.Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
