Role Summary

As Sr. Remarketing Advisor, Pre-Owned Inventory at Rivian, you will be responsible for managing acquired Rivian branded inventory through reconditioning processes at both internal service locations and with third-party partners. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that vehicle quality meets Rivian's high standards, optimizing partner efficiency, and achieving internal goals and KPIs as designed by the company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive improvements in inventory management, refurbishment process and overall vehicle quality.

Responsibilities

Oversight of the end-to-end process of vehicle reconditioning from acquisition to final quality assurance.Manage inventory levels to ensure timely reconditioning and availability of vehicles.Coordinate with internal service locations and third-party partners to ensure efficient and effective reconditioning operations.Monitor and enforce quality standards throughout the reconditioning process.Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that vehicles meet Rivian's quality criteria.Implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed to address quality issues.Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party reconditioning partners (both existing partnerships and new partnerships).Evaluate partner performance based on efficiency, quality, and adherence to contractual agreements.Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Implement best practices and process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.Ensure adherence to internal goals, KPIs, and compliance requirements.Work closely with internal teams such as Procurement, Logistics, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless operations.Provide regular updates and reports on inventory status, reconditioning progress, and partner performance.Train and mentor team members and partners on best practices and standard operating procedures.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, operations, or a related role within the automotive industry at either an Automotive OEM or a major used vehicle retailer.Proven experience managing third-party vendors or partners and maintaining strong relationships.Strong understanding of vehicle reconditioning processes and quality standards.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Experience working with and full knowledge of electric vehicles.Project Management experience is a plus.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants : $78,700-98,400/year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)Salary Range/Hourly Rate for New York Based Applicants : $85,600-107,000/year (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)Benefits Summary:
