An experienced Construction Superintendent is needed for this fantastic opportunity.
Salary: $65K - $100K (depending on experience)Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick Leave, Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityAdditional: Per diem, accommodation, company vehicle allowanceSchedule/Travel: Complete 12 month - 18 month
project, then travel elsewhere for next project and so on...
Role & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the proper construction of assigned building or buildingsEnsure that all assigned construction is completed according to plans and specifications, on schedule, and that the highest quality of workmanship is achieved without creating unreasonable costCoordinate with testing agencies, subcontractors, the Construction Quality Control Manager and the Project ManagerConsistent communication with the Project Manager and Director of ConstructionStrong scheduler, able to plan with look-aheadResponsible for all property during building constructionResponsible for all tools and equipment assigned to projectCollect, review and pass complete submittals to the ArchitectSupervise all assigned carpenters, laborers and equipment operatorsRecords hours worked of all assigned personnel and record hours used of all assigned equipmentEnsure that all necessary tools and materials are available so that no loss or production time is incurredEnsure that needed subcontractors are thoroughly briefed as to what is expected of them and at what time and locationInspect receiving reports to ensure all assigned materials are received and made secureReport all subcontractor’s status reports no later than the 1st of each monthSchedule and coordinate any required testing with assistance from the Quality Control ManagerSchedule inspections as required by local governments and personally accompanies the Inspector with assistance from the Quality Control MangerConduct a complete final inspection of each completed structure prior to releasing subcontractor and with Owner, noting any and all deficienciesEnsure Customer/Owner satisfaction by responding promptly to customer complaints and requestsComplete reports and paperwork, such as Time Cards, Expense Reports, Purchase Orders, Safety Meeting Reports, Subcontractor Pay Application Reviews
