Lead and manage programmatic activities.Develop and manage financial and project progress reports.Coordinate and oversee support staff, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.Monitor and track program progress, providing regular updates.Implement strategies for risk management, quality assurance, and performance improvement.Write, edit, and review materials such as research summaries and reports.Translate complex scientific research into accessible content.Create and optimize content for web resources.Collaborate with subject matter experts to verify content accuracy.Serve as the primary liaison for project stakeholders.Lead meetings, presentations, and discussions with stakeholders.Oversee the preparation of materials for senior leadership and stakeholder meetings.Ensure all content complies with Section 508 accessibility standards.Oversee the review process for all content.Implement quality control measures.Execute agreements and payments to subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.Contribute to financial tracking and management reporting.What You Will Need

:Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Communications, or a related fieldMinimum of FIVE (5) years of experience in program or project management roles.Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in writing and editing biomedical materials.Strong understanding of financial management principles.Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.What Would Be Nice To Have

:Experience with the NIH’s mission and federal standards.Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Master’s or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Communications, English, PharmD, or MD).Experience in developing content for web resources.Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance strategies.Certifications Preferred : Medical Writer Certified (MWC), Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC-P/PM), Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) Certification.The annual salary range for this position is $115,200.00-$172,800.00.
