Overview:

The Enterprise Excellence Lead – Multi Site (EE Lead / Continuous Improvement Lead) is responsible for developing and executing short, medium, and long-term Operational Improvement Strategies & Plans (Roadmap) aligned with company objectives. The EE Lead will reside at a site and be directly responsible for execution at the site in addition to leading, coaching, and mentoring EE Engineers, CI Engineers, or EE Champions as part of a business segment. This includes supporting the development and execution of each site’s EE Strategy, Roadmap, and execution of those plans as a hands-on practitioner. Reporting relationship of other site EE Engineers/Champs/CI Engineers will be dotted line to EE Lead. EE Lead will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Excellence.

The EE Lead is expected to be a strong hands-on practitioner with a passion for improvement, possess a servant-leader mentality, and must be a good communicator. EE Lead must have a successful track record with Enterprise Excellence, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement with strong planning, project management, task management, and process improvement experience. This position is a key leader in building, evolving, and executing continuous improvement across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

Lead EE Steering committee for assigned site to develop & execute on a 1-to-3-year roadmap aligned to Resonetics EE playbook & initiatives. Participate or lead where needed steering committee for sites of responsibility.

Representative on the Corporate EE Steering Committee and actively contribute towards improving the Enterprise Excellence System.

Lead & collaborate with Engineering resources in the development & implementation of site capacity plans and factory layouts aligned to Resonetics network optimization for growth.

Lead Kaizen events at the sites of responsibility to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Improve product flow, reduce lead time, and improve customer on-time delivery.

Lead and/or assist in the advancement of EE systems and tools.

Identify and drive cost improvement projects (CIP) to align with company cost improvement goals.

Execute the Resonetics EE playbook for the assigned sites including:

Launching & maintaining the Idea program, EE recognition, EE belt certification.

Building & launching value stream/team structures including SQDCT metrics with daily/weekly tiered meetings.

Leading reviews and coaching of 8 Step Problem Solving and the White/Green/Black Belt training.

Maintain and oversee performance management against the site roadmap and key performance indicators of success. Deliver monthly performance updates on progress of key initiatives.

Lead Policy Deployment (Hoshin Strategy Planning) ensuring all members of leadership are trained, engaged, and actively using the process.

Lead the definition and implementation of site Value Streams and organizational support design around those Value Streams.

Lead the definition of metrics and data sources for those metrics for use on the SQCDT boards. Ensure the site SQCDT boards are using data that is essential to continuous improvement.

Work with site DOO and stakeholders to identify and actively participate in key Solve-It risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the company; generate and present enterprise excellent proposals for stakeholder review.

Be one of the site SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) for mining, analyzing, and summarizing key operational metrics representing Enterprise Excellence KPIs.

Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures; implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.

Lead coordination and integration of Enterprise Excellence efforts among different Resonetics sites including participating in Kaizens at these sites.

Be the site certified Lean Black Belt leading the Resonetics EE certification program.

Lead, coach, facilitate and guide other site EE Eng or Champ as assigned.

Qualifications:

5 years minimum leading/practicing operational/enterprise excellence.

Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Excellent leadership of individuals & collaboration at all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Deep experience implementing a lean manufacturing culture, tools, techniques, and organizational roles necessary for a thriving Enterprise Excellence culture.

Understanding of project management techniques.

5+ years of experience in a FDA, ISO, or other regulated environment.

Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in an engineering/science or related field.

Thorough knowledge of ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturing.

Ability to present and convey complex ideas to internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Lean Black Belt Certification or Equivalent.
