Public Works Director

The City of Brainerd is recruiting a Public Works Director. Qualifications for the position include:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Park and Recreation Management, Business Management, Public Administration or other related field.Five or more years of management or supervisory experience.Demonstrated experience in concurrent management of multiple programs and complex projects.Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Park and Recreation Management, Business Management, Public Administration, or related field.Eight or more years of management or supervisory experience.Previous experience as a Department Head or Public Works Director of a similar size City.
