As the world’s largest manufacturer of fire equipment, we make sure our vehicles, production teams, and service personnel are ready to do what is necessary to keep communities safe.POSITION SUMMARYThe Legal & Compliance Manager will be responsible for examining, evaluating, investigating, and giving guidance to the Rosenbauer America Group regarding laws and regulations governing contract compliances, licenses, and any other applicable legal document. They will be responsible for monitoring compliance regulations, and for compliance reporting to Rosenbauer International’s Legal & Compliance Department. The Legal & Compliance Manager will be responsible for compliance related training for the Rosenbauer America Group in collaboration with Rosenbauer International.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAll employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.Execution and update of Business Partner Due Diligence in the Rosenbauer America Group.Carry out sales project audits for the Rosenbauer America Group.Ongoing reporting to Corporate Legal & Compliance Department.Compliance review of key employees in the Rosenbauer America Group prior to entry.Responsible for coordinating and conducting mandatory basic compliance trainings for all new employees as well as any additional advanced trainings in the Rosenbauer America Group under the guidance of the Corporate Legal & Compliance Department.Support the Corporate Legal & Compliance Department in the process of preparing and maintaining compliance related guidelines and instructions in particular with US reference.Answer compliance related questions that arise within the Rosenbauer America Group.Conduct ongoing monitoring of compliance regulations relevant to the Rosenbauer America Group.Provide legal advice to Rosenbauer America’s divisions and companies in cooperation with external advisors as required.Support the Corporate Legal & Compliance Department in legal corporate housekeeping issues for the Rosenbauer America Group.Responsible for contract negotiations in operational national (US), and if required, international business projects.Responsible for preparation and review of contracts from various legal areas with US relevance.Responsible for organizing internal trainings on selected legal topics for the Rosenbauer America Group.Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’S):

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience:Juris Doctor required.3-5 years of experience in a law firm specializing in compliance or working in a similar role within an industrial manufacturer required.Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas preferred.Skills:Language:Able to read, reason, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.Able to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of our business community.Able to effectively communicate information related to compliance to any level of the organization, including top management.Math:Able to apply advanced math concepts such as elementary differential equations, probability, programming, and statistics related to finance.Able to develop budgets and track budget expenditures.Computer:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Abilities:Able to achieve company goals by developing and adhering to standards and process management through a hands-on-approach as a team player.Able to solve problems and meet deadlines by utilizing project management and compliance best practices to organize and prioritize tasks.High level of organization, time-management skills, and self-discipline.Highly motivated and analytical individuals with acute attention to detail.Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment.Able to work well with minimal supervision and in a team environment.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSDriving- license: May need to travel off site for tradeshows, meetings, or company related events.Driving- Own Vehicle: May need to travel off site for tradeshows, meetings, or company related events.Hours of work- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally: As needed to support department needs.Travel- Local: Local tradeshows or training.Travel- Overnight: May need to travel off site for tradeshows, meetings, or company related events.Travel- Prolonged Periods: May need to travel off site for tradeshows, meetings, or company related events.Qualifications- Other: Able to obtain a passport, if needed.EOE, including disability/veterans.
