Job Description
Oversees, directs, and facilitates Foundation operations to fulfill Children’s vision and mission in an efficient, systematic, innovative, and resource-effective manner. Manages teams conducting prospect research and management, and donor data processing and analytics, donor database conversion and oversight, and direct response fundraising programs. Liaise for functions outsourced to Marketing, Corporate Finance, and Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) business partners. Leads and/or is a key participant in high-level, complex projects related to system goals and initiatives including Foundation long-range financial plan and Foundation database conversion. Position reports to the Vice President, Development and Operations.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of related experienceMinimum of 5 years of management/leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher, preferably in business, finance, or other relevant fieldFundraising operations/development services experienceProficiency with Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, ImportOmatic, Luminate, and SharePointExperience in healthcare industry, preferably with pediatric populations
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Job Responsibilities
Directs and facilitates Foundation operations to fulfill Children’s vision and mission in an efficient, systematic, innovative, and resource-effective manner while reporting to the Vice President, Development and Operations, and in collaboration with Foundation leadership team and system colleagues.Oversees Prospect Research & Analytics team conducting prospect identification, research, and portfolio management for all development officers and teams; creates/produces metrics and reports to monitor donor engagement and individual, team, and division performance.Establishes Prospect Engagement Policies (PEPs) and related protocols; operationalizes to all division employees through training and communications. Manages analysis of wealth screening data, predictive models, and other resources.Leads donor database (CRM) conversion project from existing Raiser's Edge system to new Salesforce system; responsible for prioritizing various data needs across team, historic data hygiene and mapping projects, architecture and implementation of new system and ongoing change management and training of updated system and related processes.Manages ePhilanthropy/Direct Response team designing and implementing donor acquisition and fundraising programs using online and digital tools, email, and direct mail. Implements protocols to coordinate mass communications to donors and manage/innovate new online fundraising tools.Liaises with Marketing, Corporate Finance and IS&T to facilitate/improve outsourced functions (Marketing and PR Projects, Donor Data Services, Gift Processing, Foundation Financials, Reporting, and Technical Support) to support ever-higher fundraising goals.Provides high-level consultative, technical, and data-driven decision-making support to Vice President regarding Foundation and/or system goals and initiatives.Works with Vice Presidents, fellow Directors, and team leads to develop, implement, and refine innovative tactics for process improvement, strategic planning, and change management division-wide; assesses and seeks to increase performance while building a culture of trust, engagement, and continuous improvement across the Foundation and its partners.Manages and leads teams including hiring, training, developing, mentoring, directing work, evaluating performance, and recognizing/rewarding employees.Prepares and manages an approved department budget of revenue and expenses. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
