Senior Manager, Demand & Supply Planning and Operations

is responsible for developing the future demand planning & managing supply planning operations (purchasing and logistics) strategy and day-to-day operations to support the effective and efficient delivery of Global Brands products, ensuring high levels of availability and on-time performance. The role is responsible for the development and implementation of both demand planning & purchasing practices in North America. Senior Manager, Demand & Supply Planning and Operations will drive the organization to ensure that best-in-class inventory management practices are in place and will be responsible for the Regional S&OP process.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize variable analytical and statistical forecasting methods to drive an optimum forward demand. Work closely with the Commercial, Brand, Supply, and Finance teams to ensure they are informed of significant changes in demand in a timely fashion.Size new opportunities including expansions into new markets, brands, and channels.Leverage forecast accuracy and forecasting process improvements to drive organizational value in areas of service improvement and cost reduction, as well as remove manual efforts.Identify, analyze, and document the forecast errors related to the demand forecast for identification of corrective actions in the process or system.Build and support effective working relationships with internal and external business partners (local & global) enabling strong partnerships and access to the latest information.Lead supply chain operational excellence within the GB regional supply logistics and foreign trade operations, managing 3PL logistics and freight providers relationships and ensuring local and regional import/export customs and compliance requirements are met.Own the regional Supply metrics generation and reporting.Drive improvements in the performance of key metrics including service level, inventory, and cost by identifying and implementing process, system improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.Lead key review meetings within the S&OP process, providing an overview of capacity against demand, highlighting supply chain planning performance metrics, and making recommendations on key challenges and decisions that need to be made to effectively run the business in the USA.Drive employee engagement, lead a team of 2, and create a high-performing team culture by supporting creativity and innovation, encouraging new approaches and smart risks.A bit about you…8+ years of experience in a fast-moving, high-complexity business with a sound grasp of cross-functional supply chain processes.The ideal candidate should have experience in the development and ongoing input/management of an S&OP process.Analytical and Forecasting experience working both autonomously and within a cross-functional matrix approach to stakeholder management.Knowledge of forecasting systems & processes.Experience in procurement, logistics & supplier management.Strong project management and organizational skills with proven experience managing large-scale projects.Individuals must possess a high attention to detail, be data-driven and fact-based.Ability to rise above challenging situations and lead the team toward successful solutions while possessing maturity and grace.Ability to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders across cultural, geographical, and language barriers.Demonstrated analytical thinker, skilled in problem-solving and project management.Proactive, decisional, goal and results-oriented, able to manage priorities and remove barriers.Excellent spoken & written communication skills.Ability to take a proactive attitude and work under pressure to tight deadlines.Working experience with SAP and E2Open preferred.A bit about us…We are No7 Beauty Company, a division of Walgreens Boots Alliance, a modern consumer goods company with a purpose, that combines the best of traditional companies with the vibrancy and pace of a new digital-first business.
