Additionally, they will be responsible for directing the management teams to select, develop, and motivate associates while adhering to safety and ergonomic goals and objectives.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelops and executes business plans for areas of accountability.Develops a strong, progressive management team to ensure growth of the business unit.Provides guidance to the management team in developing solutions and budgets for improving processes, maintaining facilities, and innovative problem-solving.Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and promotes a community image of the Company as the preferred place to work.Ensures that product quality, service, and reliability meet or exceed our customers' expectations.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Ag-business, or related discipline, and 7+ years of related work experience.The ideal candidate must have:Knowledge of budget development and administration, report analysis, USDA, and employment law.Broad integrated knowledge of live production and plant operations.Ability to travel to other facilities and Corporate HQ for meetings.Poultry husbandry knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude a plus.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. When in a plant environment:Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.May handle product at 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 dB.May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry and food processing facilities.
