Position Overview:
As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind our hotel’s success, ensuring that every guest’s stay is exceptional and every team member is motivated and engaged. You will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, from guest services and housekeeping to financial performance and staff development. Your leadership will shape the culture and reputation of our hotel, making it the preferred choice for travelers seeking luxury and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Inspire and lead a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Set performance standards, provide coaching, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure excellence in service.
Guest Experience:
Oversee all guest interactions to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. Address and resolve guest issues with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
Operational Excellence:
Manage daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Ensure all departments are running smoothly and efficiently.
Financial Performance:
Develop and manage the hotel’s budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and control costs.
Marketing & Sales:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive occupancy and enhance the hotel’s brand presence. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and local businesses.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, brand standards, and local laws. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality throughout the property.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Experience in luxury or boutique hotels is a plus.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and forecasting. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
Technology:
Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with revenue management systems is an advantage.
