Our electricians keep up to date on all ladder logic and instrumentation diagrams while maintaining and understanding process control loops. In addition, you will maintain and troubleshoot combustion equipment and installs PLC and computer-based control systems.Responsibilities:Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systemsTroubleshooting:
Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to restore equipment and systems to working order efficientlyPreventive Maintenance:
Execute planned preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment breakdowns and ensure optimal functionalityElectrical Work:
Safely work with electrical systems, including wiring, controls, and electronic components, adhering to all safety regulations and standardsMechanical Work:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, such as gearboxes, bearings, belts, and pumpsSafety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety in the workplaceDocumentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment historyCollaboration:
Collaborate with the production team to address maintenance needs, support continuous improvement initiatives, and minimize downtimeEmergency Response:
Be available for on-call duties and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical systems required.Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License.Electrical and mechanical certifications/licenses are a plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a production or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, including reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagramsProficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipmentUnderstanding of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus
