We are looking to add an Autocad Designer Drafter with Autocad civil 3d experience for a project in Vandergrift, PA Autocad. As a staff member, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that is critical to our nation's security and safety. You will perform the duties of both CAD Designer Drafter and GIS Specialist using ArcGIS as well as other duties as assigned.
Nuclear Projects and Consulting is a Tier 1 service provider to the U.S. Department of Energy, we deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering and construction.
We are partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to remediate the radiological contaminants at The Shallow Land Disposal Area (SLDA) site in Vandergrift, PA, encompassing 44 acres and 10 trenches of contaminated waste and soil. Army Corps awarded the $350 million remediation services contract for the cleanup of radioactive waste at the Shallow Land Disposal Area. Remediation design plans and procedures are currently being developed in anticipation of starting the site infrastructure improvements.
