A Westside financial services firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team.
In this newly created role, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting reconciliations, some invoicing, and supporting month-end close and the general ledger.
To be successful in this Staff Accountant role, the candidate must have great presentation, communication skills, and a desire to learn.

What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
1-3 years of accounting experience
Advanced Excel
Familiarity with an ERP would be helpful
What will you need in this Staff Accountant role?
Assist with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close
Maintain and update financial records while ensuring their accuracy and compliance
Assist the preparation of financial statements and reports
Monitor AR and follow up on outstanding payments
Assist with variance analysis
Assist with annual audit
