Overview
BRMi Corp. is seeking experienced Scrum Masters in support of a new government program. This program will support and augment ongoing efforts to achieve, maintain, continuously improve, and integrate Zero Trust operational capabilities and solutions across Zero Trust pillars. The purpose of this program is to provide enhanced capabilities and integration of operational capabilities and services across Zero Trust pillars to accelerate ZT maturity beyond its current rate, and achieve and maintain White House, OMB, and DHS ZT maturity goals over the next three years.
The Scrum Master supports Information Assurance and Cybersecurity efforts under our Zero Trust federal contract. We are looking for a servant leader who champions the champions the Agile mindset through effective guidance, coaching, education, and removal of impediments to team progress. This role is responsible for building high-performing teams focused on constantly improving team dynamics and performance.
*Can be 100% remote in TX, NJ, NC, WV, AL, VA, MD, MO, DC, GA, or FL *

Responsibilities
Fulfill the role of the Scrum Master by leading Agile teams in the delivery of business-critical requirements.
Report on Sprint status to provide leadership a clear view of progress toward committed goals.
Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint/iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, and other ceremonies as they apply to the teams and train the teams on Agile practices and procedures.
Track and communicate Agile metrics.
Ensure the Scrum Framework is implemented effectively by providing coaching and mentoring at the team level to maximize its benefits.
Assist with making appropriate commitments to deliver business value through story selection, definition of tasks, and estimation.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen able to obtain an agency-specific suitability / public trust clearance prior to starting.
Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in computer science to STEM related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Scrum Master and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
Previous experience with gathering requirements from Agile tools such as JIRA, Atlassian, Confluence, etc.
Experience working in an Agile or SAFe Agile software development environment
Experience with Agile coaching and Agile management supporting teams who use Linux and Windows environments Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Cloud experience specifically, AWS, Google, or Azure.
Experience supporting a software development project using CI/CD pipelines
Experience supporting an effort utilizing the zero trust framework and/or supporting a cybersecurity initiative.
