What You Will Do:

Carry out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and/or program execution.

Respond to client inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Work with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, supplies and services.

Prepares purchase orders, and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.

Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.

Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met.

Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience: Relevant coursework or experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Customer Service.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Aerospace Industry.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Systems Experience: Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
